According to the definition provided by the guys at tfl.org (the first network of fanlistings) a fanlisting is "an online list of fans of a subject that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join". Joining is free and you need only a valid email address and a country of residence. Nothing more, nothing less.
about Asuka Sohryu Langley and Shinji Ikari
Asuka Sohryu Langley and Shinji Ikari are two of the main characters from Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion, which aired in 1995. Evangelion was born as an anime series of 26 episodes and, thanks to the huge success and critical acclaim it received, it soon began to grow into a multi-million dollar franchise.
While Shinji appeared in the very first episode of the original series, Asuka made her debut only in episode 8. In spite of the delay however, Asuka became a vital character in both her own right and in the relationship with Shinji. Save for a few exceptions, many characters were affected by Asuka's arrival and among them, Shinji was certainly stunned by the red-head.
Albeit their relationship is pivotal to the storyline, the dynamics between the two are far from being simple. Even with the progression of the series, Asuka and Shinji interactions are surrounded by an aura of mystery. Many sides of their relationship continue to be only hinted or unexpressed. Therefore there isn't a proper conclusion by the end of the show and realising what actually goes on between them requires a good deal of analysis. What becomes clear however, is how much Asuka and Shinji have in common, defying what a first impression may convey.
