Joining is free and you need only a valid email address and a country of residence. Nothing more, nothing less.

about James "Sawyer" Ford

James Ford, better known by the alias "Sawyer", is a character from the TV series Lost.

Sawyer is one of the surviving passengers of Oceanic Flight 815, the aircraft which crashed on a mysterious island in the South Pacific. At the beginning Sawyer seems to be the classic “bad guy”, who easily clashes with any other survivor. As he spends more time on the island, he gradually changes his behaviour and shows more positive sides of his complex personality.

Sawyer's childhood lead him to be the man he is now. When he was eight years old, his father killed his mother and later committed suicide. James blamed the tragedy on the con man who seduced and than swindles his mother, Mr. Sawyer. He vowed revenge, though he began to use Sawyer as his real name and became a con man himself.

On the Island, Sawyer has always used his abilities to accomplish various ends. In season 3 he escaped from an enslavement by the Others with Kate, to whom he has been romantically linked. After finally killing the real Sawyer, he joined Locke and a small number of survivors sheltered in the Barracks, but has since left the faction. At the end of season 4, before being rescued, Sawyer told Kate to do a favor for him back home, then he jumped off the helicopter and came back on the Island.
